COACHING SEMINAR on MATCH ANALYSIS

A major element in the KNHB (Royal Dutch Hockey Union) coaching courses is analyzing the game of field hockey. So important is match analysis to the Dutch that it is one of their conditions for passing coaching licenses. In order to properly train their teams, coaches must first be able to clearly understand what happens in a game and why. By developing good match analysis abilities coaches only then are able to maximize their impact on teams via proper training sessions. Better training in regards to focusing on players strengths and weaknesses, more productive work on team attacking, defending and transitional play all stem from being able to properly analyze the game.
Join Marc Lammers, former National coach (2000-2008) and F.I.H Master coach for an incredible coaching seminar focusing on match analysis.

Match analysis is one of the key elements in Marc Lammers coaching(MLc) clinics organized allover the world by Winning Mood since 2009.. Without exception, when evaluating the seminar, every coach that has attended has given this seminar an enthusiastic "two thumbs up"! A typical coach's response to this experience: "eye opener"! Many participants have rated the seminar as one of the most insightful, thorough, and enjoyable soccer experiences they've ever had.

Within 6 days coaches will analyze 3/4 matches including several Dutch top division matches as well as a top youth match. This is possible to do in Holland because of its small size. In most other countries it would take you two weeks to see the same amount of top level field hockey. Prior to each match, a preparatory theory lecture is provided including guidelines on how to and what to look for in a match. After the match, coaches get the chance to contrast games, and improve their "eye" for the game.

In addition to seeing matches, coaches will have the opportunity , at least once, to watch a team in their last training session prior to the game. Also at least once, coaches will be able to have a post game conference with the head coach and/or some players who will give their opinions of the game played. This has always been a favorite part for participants. Imagine talking directly with a top professional coach or player about the game you just saw!
